Description

This year’s contest resulted in many teams who faced difficulties, yet each team offered innovative design concepts and programming.
Every team had considerable strengths that impressed the judges, and all teams encountered problems at the final test. Judges had to balance these issues and make the difficult decision of picking winners. The final choice was naming Clausthal University of Technology (TUC) the winning team selected to travel to Stavanger to present at the 2025 SPE/IADC Drilling Conference. The paper will be co-authored by the Directional Drilling team from the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa, in Ghana.
